TB Education & Training Resources Website E-Newsletter
August 2006

Greetings!

Welcome to this month's e-newsletter for the TB Education & Training Resources Website (findtbresources.cdc.gov). The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to inform you about the featured Highlight of the Month, additional helpful resources in the database, and other updates to the website.

Highlight of the Month

This month's highlight, Understanding the TB Cohort Review Process: Instruction Guide and Videotape Package, was produced by the CDC in collaboration with the Charles P. Felton National Tuberculosis Center, the Creative Digital Group, and the Constella Group. A TB cohort review process is a method in which TB cases are systematically reviewed to help a program evaluate its progress in the control and elimination of TB. The instruction guide explains the three key elements of the cohort review process and how to adapt the process to your own TB program. The videotape illustrates the benefits of adopting cohort review and highlights the roles of the cohort review team members. This resource is also available as a DVD package.
