Highlight of the Month

This month's newsletter focuses on TB resources developed for patients and the general public. The highlight of the month is a series of patient education materials produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Jersey Medical School, Northeastern National Tuberculosis Center. The series consists of five booklets and one fact sheet that were developed for a low-literate audience. The materials provide information on the following topics: TB disease, TB medicine, contact investigations, TB infection, the TB skin test, and TB and HIV.
