TB Education & Training Resources Website E-Newsletter
September 2007

Greetings!

Welcome to this month's e-newsletter for the TB Education & Training Resources Website (findtbresources.cdc.gov). The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to inform you about the featured Highlight of the Month, additional helpful resources in the database, and other updates to the website.

Highlight of the Month

This month's highlight is Tuberculosis Infection Control: A Practical Manual for Preventing TB from the Francis J. Curry National TB Center (CNTC). This manual will help healthcare providers implement effective infection control practices in clinics, airborne infection isolation rooms, emergency departments, and in homeless shelters. Five of CNTC's previous infection control products have been revised and combined to create this new manual, updated to reflect CDC's 2005 Guidelines for Preventing the Transmission of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Health-Care Settings.
