TB Education & Training Resources Website E-Newsletter
January 2010

Greetings!

Welcome to this month's e-newsletter for the TB Education & Training Resources Website (findtbresources.cdc.gov). The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to inform you about the featured Highlight of the Month, additional helpful resources in the database, and other updates to the website.

Highlight of the Month

This month's highlight is Incorporating Tuberculosis into Schools of Public Health Core Curricula, from the New Jersey Medical School Global Tuberculosis Institute. This set of online materials can be used by instructors in the core public health disciplines (Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy and Management, Environmental Health Sciences, and Social and Behavioral Sciences). The

Incorporating Tuberculosis into Schools of Public Health Core Curricula
materials provide important and sometimes neglected content on the prevention and control of TB to graduate-level public health students. Though they are developed for inclusion into schools of public health core curricula, these materials can also be used in training and in-services within health departments, or TB programs.

Do you have TB education or training materials you would like to share? You can submit materials to our database electronically! For more information, visit findtbresources.cdc.gov.
