Tools for Implementing Tuberculosis Infection-Control Activities in HIV Clinics and Outpatient Settings

Greetings!

Welcome to the e-newsletter for the Find TB Resources Website (findtbresources.cdc.gov). The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to inform you about the featured Highlight of the Month, additional helpful resources in the database, and other updates to the website.

Highlight of the Month

This month's highlight is the Tools for Implementing Tuberculosis Infection-Control Activities in HIV Clinics and Outpatient Settings developed by the CDC Division of Global HIV/AIDS.  These tools and job aids are based on the World Health Organization Policy on TB Infection Control in Health-Care Facilities, Congregate Settings and Households (2009) and emphasize simple activities that can be performed and monitored at the facility level to begin immediate implementation of TB infection control.
