This month's highlight is the New Treatment Regimen for Latent Tuberculosis Infection video podcast, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The video podcast features Dr. Kenneth Castro, Director of the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination at CDC, discussing the December 9, 2011, CDC guidelines for the use of a new 12-dose regimen for the treatment of persons with latent tuberculosis infection. The video podcast is available in English and Spanish.
