Find TB Resources Newsletter February
2013
Greetings!

Welcome to the newsletter for the Find TB Resources Website.

The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to inform you about the featured Highlight of the Month, additional helpful resources in the database, and other updates to the website.

Highlight of the Month

This month's highlight is the What You Need to Know about Your Medicine for Latent Tuberculosis (TB) Infection Fact Sheet Series, from the CDC Division of Tuberculosis Elimination. This fact sheet series is designed to complement patient education delivered by healthcare professionals. There is a fact sheet for each of the three CDC-recommended latent TB infection treatment regimens. Each sheet provides patients with a written reminder of their treatment regimen, potential medication side effects, actions to take if side effects do occur, tips to help remain adherent to the medication, and instructions in the event a dose of medication is missed.
