This month's highlight is Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis: A Survival Guide for Clinicians, 3rd edition, from the Curry International TB Center and the California Department of Public Health. This manual consists of 10 chapters and 4 appendices that cover major topics pertaining to epidemiology, diagnosis, laboratory issues, treatment, medications, pediatrics, co-morbidities, case management, adverse reactions, and treatment of contacts.
