The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to inform you about the featured Highlight of the Month, additional helpful resources in the database, and other updates to the website.

The joint biennial TB Education and Training Network (TB ETN) and TB Program Evaluation Network (TB PEN) Conference, Education and Evaluation: Driving Toward TB Elimination, will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, September 20-22, 2016. Conference plenary and breakout sessions will include topics on how TB education and evaluation can reduce the risk of TB in high-risk populations, how telemedicine is changing the way TB is diagnosed and treated, and how education and evaluation can advance the new target goals of latent TB infection. Conference activities will include skills-based workshops, informational presentations, and networking opportunities.
