Find TB Resources Newsletter December 2019
Greetings!

Welcome to the newsletter for the Find TB Resources Website.

The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to inform you about the featured Highlight of the Month, additional helpful resources in the database, and other updates to the website.

Highlight of the Month

This month's highlight is TB Personal Stories, from the CDC Division of TB Elimination. Four new stories have been added as part of the ongoing TB Personal Stories series to help raise awareness about TB in the United States. The new stories share the personal experiences of four people diagnosed and treated for TB disease or latent TB infection. In addition to video, you can also view print and social media content for each story by visiting CDC's TB Personal Stories website. Hearing personal stories from TB survivors can be a helpful motivational tool that TB programs and health care providers can use to encourage patients to complete treatment. Using patient stories in online, print, and social media content is also a powerful tool to reach clinicians, policy makers, and members of the public less familiar with TB.

We Are TB, The National TB Controllers Association, and the Stop TB USA also contributed to the project.
