CDC’s Mantoux TB skin test toolkit has free training materials on how to read and administer the TB skin test. The toolkit includes a fact sheetwall chartvideo, and ruler. The materials are available for download or to order on the CDC On Demand website.


The TB skin test should be placed (administered) and read by a designated, trained health care provider. Consult with your state and local public health authorities to determine who can place and read TB skin tests in your state.
