The CDC Division of TB Elimination now offers two materials in Chuukese and Swahili.

The Questions and Answers About TB booklet provides important information on the diagnosis and treatment of TB. Download the Chuukese and Swahili booklets for free from the CDC website.

The What You Need to Know About Tuberculosis fact sheet gives a quick introduction on TB as well as information on testing and treatment of TB. Download the Chuukese and Swahili fact sheets for free from the CDC website.

Other learning opportunities & resources

CDC’s False-Positive Investigation Toolkit provides mycobacteriology staff with resources to recognize potential false-positive results and to assist staff in false-positive investigations.

The toolkit includes a document with information on prevention practices and monitoring, job aids, posters, and templates. The job aids and templates can be modified for local use.

An accompanying online interactive case study training module is also available through the Association of Public Health Laboratories. The training module walks through different scenarios of a potential false-positive investigation.
