Electronic Mailing List and Digests

A Electronic Mailing List is an interactive communication forum that takes place over e-mail. Subscribers of a Electronic Mailing List can e-mail questions and comments to the Electronic Mailing List that other subscribers can then read and respond to. In comparison, a digest is not interactive; rather, it is a collection of news articles, announcements and other information sent to digest subscribers.
