Tuberculosis prevention and care among refugees and other populations in humanitarian settings: an interagency field guide, from the World Health Organization (WHO).

The CDC Division of TB Elimination and the Southeastern National Tuberculosis Center offer TB patient education materials in Ukrainian. The resources are available free of charge and can be downloaded online.

In addition to the patient education resources above, the Southeastern National Tuberculosis Center recently released a Cultural Quick Reference Guide for Ukraine to aid the provider-client relationship. The guide includes country-specific information on communication, cultural norms, facts and traditional ideas about TB, and treatment considerations.

 

The TB Centers of Excellence for Training, Education, and Medical Consultation (TB COEs) also provide expert medical consultation. For more information about the TB COEs and their areas of coverage, please visit the CDC website.
