This brochure provides information to persons with latent TB infection (LTBI) who are adjusting their immigration status. The brochure describes LTBI, emphasizes the importance of LTBI treatment, and explains how to receive LTBI treatment. 

A poster that describes the TB blood test, explains what a positive blood test means, and emphasizes that TB is treatable. This material was designed to be displayed in civil surgeon offices to explain TB screening as part of the immigration medical examination.  

The handout describes the main characteristics of LTBI and Active TB, as well as their differences. The material also describes what increases the risk for developing Active TB and how to prevent TB from developing. English is on one side and Mandarin is on the other.
