Abstract
This report explains the European DOTS Expansion plan to control TB. The plan highlights country needs and resource gaps, emphasizing collaboration with the governments of endemic countries, national and international agencies, and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). The aim is to stimulate social and political commitment to achieving the global TB targets as part of the overall health system. The plan is based on two principles: the development of national DOTS expansion plans and partnership-building to control TB.Publisher:
