Abstract
The latest issue of the New Jersey Medical School Global Tuberculosis Institute’s Cultural Competency newsletter focused on patient advocacy. The issue was released in conjunction with World TB Day. It highlights the moving story of one patient’s experience with a TB diagnosis, and how she helped other TB patients, their loved ones and healthcare providers in the struggle against TB. The issue also includes information on confronting stigma, extrapulmonary TB and advocacy resources.Publisher:
